To arrange for services, first call or email, and I will email you a service authorization form. The Service Authorization allows me to anticipate the arrival of your pipes, to confirm services/special requests, and to schedule time. The form should then be shipped along with your pipes or stocks, depending on the service requested. I am not responsible for instruments shipped without prior authorization.
Shipping is the responsibility of the customer both ways. Be sure to use a trackable shipping service, to insure the package appropriately, and to pack everything with care. The contents are your responsibility until safely received here. I will ship with the same considerations when returning your instrument.
In most cases services can be completed within 7 days. As soon as the service has been completed, your instrument will be promptly shipped back to you.
Customers who live within driving distance of the shop are welcome to bring their pipes for service. Please phone or email to schedule an appointment.
We may be able to provide bagpipe maintenance services not specifically listed. Feel free to call or email about other options.
Services are only effective on instruments that are structurally sound. You should let me know if you have a damaged instrument, a very old or fragile instrument, or a Middle Eastern instrument, and I can discuss the best course of action with you.
